Twilight Circle will be holding its first ever Guild Fight, and
Brew fest on Friday July 14, starting at 2pm EST, at the Freeport Arena.
IHNZO AND MEDRANA GETTING HITCHED!
July 22nd (Sat) at 4pm pst there will be a wedding between
Medrana De'Jenare and Ihnzo Tohon in the Lake Rathe Arena. All are welcome to come
provided your are of good alignments as Medrana is a Paladin of Erollisi Marr.

RUNE OF FLAME EMERGES
Rune of Flame has been
added to the guild section. Here is a great description of their guild written by their
leader, Inyx.

Rune of Flame is a society of scholars, educators, and
adventurers. The members scower Norrath and the planes to collect information and items
that use to attain a higher understanding of the world, its inhabitants and the forces of
the gods that are at work within it.
The Rune of Flame is dedicated to the collection and storage of
information. At times they will exchange information with others for secrets found by
others and items of power that will assist them in their quest.
Through this knowledge comes power and with this power comes a
responsibility to protect the less fortunate of Norrathian society. Therefore the members
also make a point to protect those who are oppressed by the chaos that inhabits Norrath.

A new Lanys guild emerges today under the leadership of one of our more
infamous community members. What is Seekers of Chaos all about? Check out their website

Welcome to Monday morning! Hope everyone got their EQ fix and had a
great Father's Day. First update this week is the introduction of Lanys T'vyls most recent
guild, Mischief and Mayhem. For more information on this fine, new guild, pop on over to
their website, now available from our guild section. Heres a little about them in the
words of Strobius. Ive turned down the bright lights to ease the suffering of the
hungover.

We are a guild that believes that fun should be a way of life, we
are
dedicated to having fun but not to the extent by which the enjoyment of
other gamers is sacrificed.
GM EVENT REPORT
Following are the details of the event as told by Felwan Silverblade of the
Solidaire Guild, Lanys T'Vyl:
"Hail,
Last night, I was strolling around west commons when I heard a shout from a
man named Jeroth asking if any warriors, paladins, or shadowknights were up
to a challenge, a test of honor. Well, feeling that if I didn't respond my
honor would be in question, I answered his request and was then told that I
was the one who would face the challenge. I met Jeroth in the corner of
commons near the shadowmen camp and he proceeded to tell me what was in
store. I found out that I was to face his 3 brothers, one at a time, in a
battle to the death. Once I killed the first brother, I was to return the
amulet wore around his neck back to Jeroth and would then receive my clue as
to the location of the next brother. Also, I was able to choose a team of
companions to aid my in my fight. Well, I choose friends that were near,
Carbo, Stratten, Taycie, Kaetlyn, and Canalon agreed to help me and we were
off to the desert of North Ro to kill the first brother. After that fight,
we returned and were told to meet the next in Kithicor, and after that
battle, my final brother to meet was in lava storm.
The first brother's name was Drewyn Wyndsteel and he was a warrior as
myself. The second brother was a monk by the name of Zev Thunderfis. The
third and final brother was an evil dark elf shadowknight by the name of
Dalesk V'Syrn. All three were difficult competitors, but all three died by
the end of my blades. Upon returning to Jeroth after the third brother, I
was told I would face my final confrontation in the Arena in West Freeport
and this battle was to be me alone. Well, we all assembled in Freeport and
after some problems with some over zealous guards, I was in the arena ready
to face my final battle. My opponent was the Spirit of Honor, and I was no
match for his obvious powers. I knew my doom was pending, so I saluted the
Spirit before he made the final blow, and was told to STOP fighting. He
congratulated me for passing all the trials and two more spirits showed up,
the Spirit of Fury and the Spirit of Heart. I was congratulated by all
three spirits, and was then awarded a blade, the Blade of Champions. I
vowed to do my best to uphold the name of this mighty blade and thanked the
Spirit who had gathered to test me.
I am honored that I was chosen to take place in this test, and I am
greateful for all those that helped. I wanted to take a moment to thank
everyone who followed me around to all the different spots and congratulated
me in the end. Thanks.

/ooc This was a blast!!! I loved the shouting matches with those that were
playing the brothers before each fight as I had to hunt them down. I really
want to thank my group that helped me out, couldn't have done it without

Back with the updates on this fine Tuesday afternoon. Hope
everyone had a great lag-free weekend. On today's plate we have a few new guilds to
introduce and some general announcements. There is also a nice topic in the message boards
today asking "Why did you come to Lanys?" with some very interesting responses.

TWILIGHT CIRCLE
Here's some new info reguarding "Order of the Parrot"
and the new guild "Twilight Circle" in the words of our old pal Jumin, the
guildfather. Check out their website in the guild directory for changes and details
reguarding the twin guilds.

Twilight Circle is the sister guild to Order of the Parrot . Order of the Parrot has
Splintered itself into a high lv and an low lv guild. While Twilight Circle will have a
open recruiting policy . Order of the parrot will now take only members of the Twilight
Circle into thier ranks with very few exceptions.
LE CONSEIL DRACONIQUE
Parlez-vous Francais? Le Conseil Draconique has
united as a french-speaking, dragon-worshipping guild. Very interesting Cult structure
here. Check out their website now available from the guildsection. Here is the English
Version of the guild goals in the words of their guildfather.

The main purpose of our guild is to worship dragons in general
and Veeshan more likely. We are actually more than 30 players, all speaking french, which
is required to join the guild. In fact we use french s a draonic language since few
understand it. By the way if we all could have Veeshan as god to workship it would be
great...we would also enjoy dragon like skins hehe....or at least something to looks like
dragonslike creature..object with charges of illusion iksar would be ok i think... The
guildpurpose is to restore the cult of dragons that we implemented...Like that a nation
was under the dragons rules and collpased ..we want to restore this nation! We want also
to be known from other players...like legendary people. if you have any comments please

CHANGE OF COMMAND
- FORGOTTEN COUNCIL
Got this letter in the mail from Rylex reguarding Forgotten Council's new leadership.
The guild Forgotten Council is now under the command of Kedmon
Forgewill. Although the website has not been changed to reflect recent changes in the
guild it is hoped that they are soon to come. The guild is now going through a major
changing of policies and structure.
